Medieval Fantasy

1 hr. 30 min.
Everyone has their finger in Destiny’s pie. Plans are coming apart. How could this
small, insignificant flake of a child bring about the downfall
of a powerful Druid? Are
all visions the consequence of poignant truths? What if you
believed your world was
dissolving, and all the magic with it? What if you had some influence to alter the
forces that be? What
would you do? Nothing?
But nothing goes the way it should and magic, in the hands of
someone with anger
and revenge in his heart, is no safe thing.

ANmatis Well you
did promise me…did you not? TOWN’s elder Well
yes, but… ANMATIS Good! I was hoping you would not forget the tiny
offer you made of anything I desired.
For now I do so wish to take the hand, of the fairest, most beautiful,
wittiest, wisest and yet obedient maiden in the land. TOWN’s ELDER But
surely you can’t think… ANMATIS The
FAIREST in the land! TOwn’s Elder And how
do you purpose we accomplish this…this…thing? Anmatis Simple,
really. Send messages to all noble
born who are already here in the city to celebrate my wonderful victory over
the twilight, and have them here in one hour. Town’s elder I don’t
think I can get them to… anmatis I don’t
expect you to think. Just do! Town’s Elder leaves, grumbling. Leanan enters from the other side. Anmatis Simple
minded fool! leanan Don’t be
so hard on yourself. Anmatis I was
not…never mind. Your timing is good,
Faerie. LEanan I told
you I would be here when you needed me.
So, now you are using those people to find yourself a wife? Anmatis Interesting
observation coming from you, who had to steal a mortal baby to... Oh, and where is your boy? You must have found him by now, or you
would not have come to my aid. Leanan He’s…he’s…not
here. Anmatis Well, I
can see that. Where is he? |
